Candy Corn Run - October 9, 2010
The second annual Candy Corn Run will be held Saturday, October 9, in conjunction with the Corn Day festivities. Race will begin and end at the First Christian Church (504 Bohleber Drive) with the awards ceremony and hospitality tent on site. Online registration is available or paper forms are available upon request. To guarantee an event t-shirt, please have paid registrations completed by September 24. The registration fee is $20 per person.

Best Practices Training for MDTs

The Guardian Center staff was pleased to welcome Detective Michael Johnson, formerly of the Plano Texas Police Department, to our area on August 19th and 20th. Detective Johnson spoke to members of the center's multi-disciplinary team from Edwards, Wabash, Gallatin, Saline, White, Richland, Lawrence and Crawford counties. He stressed the importance of using teamwork to help the victims of child abuse.
